International seminars belong to the strategic activities of the URBENVIRON International Association for Environmental Planning and Management ( and gathers scientists, scholars, planners, policy makers, students and citizens in general around the knowledge production and the exchange of information and experiences about a previously defined theme, before each biennial Congress.

     In line with the Urbenviron Congress Cairo 2011, this 4th International Seminar on Environmental Planning and Management – Urbenviron NITEROI 2010 – focuses SUSTAINABLE CITIES FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM. 

    The Seminar is hosted by the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) under organizational responsibility of the School of Engineering and the URBENVIRON Association.


The 4th URBENVIRON  SEMINAR will be held at the School of Engineering of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Rua Passo da Pátria 156, Bl. “D”, 3rd floor, Niterói  - RJ, Brazil.
